The Enrolment Process
We encourage parents to visit the service, to meet the educators and to have a look around to get the feel of the care environment. At this time, information about vacancies will be provided and you will be given an Enrolment Form to take away and complete. Alternatively, you can download the Enrolment Form below and bring it along to the service already completed along with an up to date Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register.
Waiting List
If there are no places available, you are welcome to place your child on the Waiting List. Please complete the Enrolment Form, attach an up to date Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register and return it to the service as soon as possible. A non- refundable $20 cash Enrolment Fee is required to cover administrative costs. You will be contacted when a place becomes available for your child. Please feel free to contact the service regarding your child’s progress on the Waiting List at any time or if your care requirements change.
Orientation
Once you have been contacted to confirm that a place is available for your child, a time for orientation will be arranged. This is an opportunity for you and your child to visit the service, to spend time to become familiar and accustomed to the educators and surroundings. A detailed Parent Handbook will be provided, which contains more information about the service, what your child needs to bring each day and information on our policies and procedures. Any questions that you may have can be answered and your child can play in the playground or join in some of the activities with the other children. Orientation will help your child to settle in, and minimise possible separation anxiety. You are welcome to visit the service as many times as you like before your child commences so that you and your child feel comfortable in the care environment.
